For 4WD front differential, differential oil may spill out the vent valve during high-speed travel because the structure of the valve is improper. This can lead to the reduced amount of differential oil causing abnormal noises. At worst, the differential gets damaged and the vehicle becomes stalled.

Correction: 

The differential vent valve should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit, and it should be installed with its slit facing the vehicle front. In addition, if the amount of differential oil is very low, the differential should be inspected, and its part with damage should be replaced with a new one.
