On certain vehicles, the regulator valve inside the high-pressure regulator supplying fuel to the engine may crack due to improper manufacturing process. The cracked regulator valve may cause an excessive fuel supply to the engine, and this could result in an engine stall.
Correction:
The high-pressure regulator should be replaced with a non-defective one.
