On certain vehicles with manual transmission, a clutch pedal operation may cause interference between the top part of the clutch pedal and the electric wires, because the wires are not properly secured. At worst, this may cause a short circuit and a blown fuse, and result in no illumination of the lights such as headlights or overheating.
Correction:
The wires should be secured with tape for preventing them from interfering with the clutch pedal. Also, the wires should be inspected, and the one with damage should be either repaired or replaced with a new one.
Identification:
white or yellow paint on the upper part of the clutch pedal arm
