For liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) vehicles, the fuel cutoff valve may allow water to enter inside if water hits it directly such as when washing the vehicle, due to its inadequately waterproofed structure. Water may cause corrosion or a short circuit to the coil inside the valve resulting in damage, and at worst, fuel supply to the engine could be cut off, in which case the engine would stop and would not restart.

Correction: 

The fuel cutoff valve should be replaced with a presently available one, and the watertight cover should be installed on it. Also, the caution plate that tells not to wet the valve when washing the vehicle should be placed. Incidentally, it takes time to supply all the watertight covers, and therefore, as a temporary measure, the valve should be checked, and if it does not satisfy the standard, it should be replaced with a new one.
